The varsity football Rocks traveled to Indiana to play Cathedral. On the road in a tough environment, the Rocks fell 28-7. The JV Rocks hosted Cathedral the following day at Marshall Stadium. The Rocks scored first, but failed to capitalize on multiple opportunities, and Cathedral hung on for a 10-7 victory.

Trinity Cross Country
The Cross Country Rocks had a stellar weekend as they traveled to Terre Haute, IN for a nationally-renowned cross country meet, the Nike Valley Twilight. Led by Ryan O’Dea and Nick Lewis, who finished eleventh and twelfth individually, respectively, the Rocks finished in the top-10 (ninth-place). The Cross Country Rocks were also the top-finishing team from the state of Kentucky!
Your Trinity Golf Rocks are headed to state! Led by the defending Kentucky Boys High School Champion, JM Butler, the Golf Rocks set a school-record in posting an 11 under-par and winning the KHSAA 6th Region Championship! The Rocks started strong and never looked back as four of their five golfers posted under-par rounds for the championship, hosted by Seneca Golf Course. Butler’s 67 was the top individual score in the championship. Seniors JM Butler, Drex Gillaspie, Davis Money, Brion Tinsley and Ballard Harris comprise the squad that the Rocks will be sending to state.
The varsity Football Rocks begin district play this week and will host Ballard on Friday at 7 p.m. (please note: the game was originally scheduled to be played at Ballard prior to their stadium bleachers being condemned). The JV Rocks will host Ballard today, Oct. 7, at 5:30 p.m. The Freshman Rocks get back in action as they host Ballard at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.
The varsity Soccer Rocks begin the district tournament on Wednesday against the winner of the Seneca and Atherton game. The Trinity game will start at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Trinity’s Marshall Stadium.
Trinity Cross Country
Saturday, the Cross Country Rocks will travel to Bardstown, KY for the Thomas Nelson Revolt Invitational. The meet will begin at 9 a.m.
The Golf Rocks will compete in the KHSAA State Golf Tournament this weekend at the Bowling Green Country Club. The event will take place all day Friday and Saturday.
Trinity Ice Hockey
Busy week for the Hockey Rocks as they play all weekend. Friday, the Rocks host Team Louisville at Iceland at 8 p.m. Saturday, the Rocks play Hamilton Southeast twice. The first game starts at 2 p.m. and the second game starts at 5 p.m.
