Trinity Golf Rocks Capture KHSAA Region 6 Championship!

Your Trinity Golf Rocks are headed to state! Led by the defending Kentucky Boys High School Champion, JM Butler, the Golf Rocks set a school-record in posting an 11 under-par and winning the KHSAA 6th Region Championship!

The Rocks started strong and never looked back as four of their five golfers posted under-par rounds for the championship, hosted by Seneca Golf Course. Butler’s 67 was the top individual score in the championship.

“To win a region championship with my senior brothers feels so amazing!” Butler said. “That feeling of representing Trinity is something that I’ll never forget.”

Senior Drex Gillaspie echoed Butler’s sentiments. “It still feels unbelievable that we’re going to the state tournament. We feel like we’re going to prepare very well, and we’re expecting to go to Bowling Green and be one of those teams that are in it on the last day for a state championship.”
