Students will add different sensors and motors to the robot and learn how to program these to perform specific tasks, like using an ultrasonic sensor to avoid an object in the way or using a color sensor to make different decisions.

Once students are comfortable with controlling their Basic Bots, they will get a chance to design their own robots for a variety of activities, including a Drag Race and a Battle Bot competition.

This camp will be held at Trinity High School, in the newly remodeled Gregory H. Brown Technology Center.

The camp will be led by IT Instructor Mary B. Mason.
